Drab old home decor does not have to be thrown away. As an artist, I enjoy taking objects like plain vases that are boring and giving them a new look. Living on the west coast of Florida, I find myself painting a lot of coastal scenes on just about anything such as canvas, glass, wood, etc. These glass vases are painted with acrylics and sealed with an art sealant.
