I don't always have a plan when I paint. Sometimes I am inspired by what I see and living in a coastal area, there is always inspiration! Once I have completed painting a subject, I will look at it and decide what product my art would compliment. I painted these whimsical fish and thought how perfect they would look on a pillow! I prepare a "mock up" design and if the color looks right, I will add it to my store.
Too afraid to go this bold? Add a solid color and "voila"......you have the perfect combination! Cheery and fun!
