Flamingo for Fun!

I painted this adorable flamingo and thought what fun it would be displayed in a nursery or child's room, but realized adults like flamingos too! And why not? This pretty print would go great in any room! An interesting fact about flamingos is, parents are able to locate their baby chick by the sound of its voice. That sounds pretty easy, but have you ever seen a flock of these birds together? These puppeteers were fascinating and wowed the crowds at the recent St Johns River Festival of the Arts this past weekend, April 30-May 1. The festival featured an array of talented artists, fun shopping, fabulous music, good food and some very interesting entertainment! Despite the Florida heat, these actors managed to not only “stay in character” for hours on end but also kept their balance while walking on stilts! Amazing!
